  1. I have "anydvd" open and trying to use dvd decrypter to back up a personal movie that has been giving me problems to back-up, but when I go to the drive in dvd decrypter to select the dvd it says drive is empty. Does not recognize that I have dvd in drive. Tried dvd shrink also, but when I go to drive it says "no disc"

Help am I using anydvd correctly. Why can't dvd decrypter and dvd shrink recognize my dvd in drive. When I uninstall "anydvd" is the only time it recognizes dvd.

    Help me please.

    Where to start ?

    1. DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink do not need anydvd running to rip a DVD. Both have CSS decryption capabilities, and the latest DVD Decrypter gets around the new copy protection.

    2. If you want to run AnyDVD, then you don't need to use DVD Decrypter, as you can just drag and drop the video_TS directory to your harddrive in windows explorer.

    3. If this is a DVD+/-R disk, you don't need to run any of these, as you can simply copy it.

I would not run DVD Decrypter or rip with DVD Shrink while AnyDVD is running, as they do much the same thing, and could well be tripping over each other.
