My objective is to make a music video dvdr.
I have 20 movies that I want to link to a
scrolling title menu using up and down btns so
I can pick any movie from the vertical scrolling titles.
is this possible?
and if so I would like some Help please in how to go about this
task.

no. DVD Menus are pretty simple things, and although there is some power to be found in programming, you are still limited. Menu items cannot move around the screen, and cannot be scrolled. You are also limited to the number of menu items you can have per screen (36).
The only way I can see of doing what you are after would be a series of switched menus, with each menu representing a scroll up one menu item. Have these auto-switch based on timeout parameters to move to the next one. Movement would not be smooth however, although you could look at putting a small motion clip of the scroll in between the menus. You would also have an issue with highlights, as the highlighted item would change across transitions. This might be overcome with some programming.
All in all, it would be a lot of effort to get something that looked like true scrolling.Read my blog here.
