I have been using QT pro to encode 3gp for a while and im not convinced the quality is all that good, is there any other software that encodes in to this format? and with better quality?
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks

Nokia Multimedia Encoder (free from the Nokia Developer site)
Xilisoft 3GP Encoder (not free)
SmartMovie (not free)
Mpegable X4 Live (not free)
ImToo (not free - looks like re-badged Xilisoft or vice-versa)
Tried the trial versions of all these and preferred Mpegable X4 Live of the bunch. I think Nokia is the only free one (although I think I read somewhere that ffmpeg is capable of this). I am sufficiently unfussy to be satisfied with the free Nokia tool. -
edit -- sorry , noticed was posted in mac forum ...
