  1. I have been burning too many coasters because svcd2dvd puts cd2

in front of cd2, yes I have them in order in the folder.

Sometime I have no problem, but most of the time it reverses the

    order.
    Anyone know why.

    Thanks for your time

I did snip out the information to shorten the log.

Are they in the correct order in the VTS list?

    From the walkthrough:

We now have 2 VTSs each containing the mpegs for the movie in question. Take note of the order of the mpegs in the VTSs as this will be the order in which they are authored. If you need to move mpegs around you can just drag & drop them:

  3. Yes, as I stated I have them in order in the folder DVD. I have them as mpg.cd1
    mpg.cd2

I only burn 1 movie per DVD, because I'm new at this.

It doesn't matter what order they are in your folder. It matters what order they are in the VTS section of the program.

  5. The VTS section has the 2 files in reverse order. Sooo I get a burn in reverse order, this I now understand. What I can't do is move them around as you stated, "drag and drop". It will not allow me to do this and I've tried it many different ways.

  6. You need to rename your files:-
    you have:- cd1.mpg
    cd2.bin.mpg
i think the ".bin" is your trouble

Ok, have a look at: http://www.svcd2dvd.com/Movies/VTS%20drag%20and%20Drop.htm

    Does that help?

  8. SCVCD2DVD doesn’t seem to like my system, I’m having one heck of a time with the drag & drop after many unsuccessful tries I was able to move the files in order. Shortened log follows, as you can see it still starts with moviecd2

    File: F:\DVD\moviecd2.mpg

    Lit,

    On repositioning segments of movies:
Assume you have three segments in your VTS like this:
    CD_2
    CD_3
    CD_1
Click on CD_1 and drop it on top of CD_2. This will place
    CD_1 ahead of CD_2.

It took me a while to fiure out the proper way to move them around too

  11. This has definitely been a learning experience. After deleting and renaming files many times it seems to be in order in the VTS when it first appears, I’m not sure just why that is. I now know what to look for to see if all is correct. The tip of placing the file on top of the other is right on the money. Hopefully this will help someone else who may have the same problem.
    Thanks for the help.
