    I think you should be okay with most Firewire cards with a Canopus.

    However, I have myself been warned, that there is a compatability issue with Texas Instrument Firewire Cards with the ADVC-50. I did not look any further into this and it may not be relevant to the 110, but thought it worth a mention.
