    Can anyone tell me what I can do about this problem? It happens when i try converting any video file to DVD using WinAVI. The result is skipping sound in certain places and a popping sound.

    Try VSO DivXtoDVD and see if you still get pops

    I couldn't even get that to work with my file. the file is a MOV file. The thing that really pisses me off is that i just spent thirty bucks on this WinAVI converter and already I'm having problems. Guess I'll have to contct them directly. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

    In that case, try TMPGenc. That will convert .MOV files
