WinAVI is telling Me to install Windows Media Codec 9 or higher. I installed the latest version of Windows Media like Baldrick suggested and still nothing. I have also installed a K-Lite codec pack which didn't seem to work either. Anyone out there have more suggestions? Thanks

  8. You can get the encoder WMV9 for AVI files here:
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/codecs/vcm.aspx

    This codec is very slow.

  12. This may seem like a dumb question but have you restarted after installing the codecs, that may be required for them to start working.

A lot of people are against codec packs, but if you are going to use a codec pack use Gordian Knot it is the best I've found.
