  1. Hello experts,
I use to convert AVI's to DVD with no problem, either with an all-in-one tool or manually with needed tools.
My issue is with movies that has sources of 2 ripped AVI's (XviD), part 1 and part 2.
For this case I use the all in one tool called- "The Film Machine" (EXELENT!!!!!!).
In some cases the source AVI's doesn't have the same audio sample so VirtualDubMod give me an error message that cannot join the files (cause the audio are not the same on sample).
Usually I implement external subtitles into my DVD movies so I cannot join the files with other "AVI Join" tools, that way I will loose the synchronization...

So, my question is how can I compare audio sample for 2 AVI files without changing size or other characteristics?
    Hope I didn’t made a mess here…

    TnX!

  2. Encode them separately, to elementary streams, then author in something like DVDLab or tmpgenc dvd author, join them there.

You can use a program such as GSpot to get the audio information of the files.

You can then use VirtualDub to create a new avi file and change the audio format/settings.
