  1. Hi Folks

been reading and using the site for some time ( very helpful) but this is my first post.

Ive d/l a film file in a format I'm unable to understand or burn.

It comes as 31 win rar archive segments named efterlyst.se7en.movie and which when extracted become a similarly named file but with an extension.r32 or 33 etc.

There is 60 opened files like the latter and 31 win rar files.

    Yo,

OK, 1st off make sure your first post doesn't get you banned!
That would be a kick in the arse wouldn't it!

Instead of saying "I dl'd the movie se7en" try...

I have a movie <- i.e. could be anything LEGAL? - of course it is!

So anyway, less of my preaching...

Looks to me like someone has compressed a movie into a set of Win RAR files which they have then compressed into yet another set of Win RAR files :0)

So, you had the original 30 files that consists of one Win RAR archive that you then extracted using Win RAR into the same directory and ended up with 30 more, totalling 60 files.

I would try extracting to ANOTHER directory, & then try extracting the resulting 30 files to yet another directory.

    Cheers,

    Andy
    Work you bloody thing....

Actually, it seems to be a "home recorded" TV series, and not a DVD rip (not even released as DVD). According to AUP (and recent questions on this topic) this is OK.
