    ihave a 1hour 28min project on the FCE timeline which i need onto dvd,the dvd recorder is a panasonic standalone with dv in, i have the firewire lead connected to the dvd recorder but it does not show up on the external monitor, i have done this before with a sharp dvd recorder,so i know it should work , but it does not show up on this occasion

    a connection computer (Mac) - Panasonic DVD recorder via DV (or firewire) does not work
    with the DVD recorders from jvc and Pioneer (320 -520) it works fine
    (I also have a Mac)
