    No, it's only "the Europeans" who use kilometers. But the UK now, by law, has to display weights in kilos and grams instead of pounds and ounces. One cornershop owner refused, relented a little and did both (with the pounds and ounces being more prominent) - and he got fined!

    Go figure...
