I am trying to capture NTSC video into virtualdub but I keep getting frame drops; max of about 20 in 40 minutes. I'm using a matrox x10 to capture .
Specs you may need
Asus PC-DL Deluxe
2x 2.8 xeon
1gig Corsair twinx (low latencey)
SB audigy 2zs
250Gb WD 7200rpm

Adobe Premiere Pro comes with the X10 suite -- you should be using that , not v-dub ..

I like the noise reduction feature on virtual dub for this particular capture help the picture. Beside whenever I try using capture in premiere, aborting/end the capture always ends in premiere freezing up
