  1. I just got mine and have set it up. One of the settings is for Frame Accuracy. The manual says: "Switch Frame Accurate On to preserve the accuracy of the Copy List. However, copying some edited Video mode titles will be done in real time."

    Does anyone know what determines whether copying is done in real time when this is switched on?

    When the editing is done while in the copy list it may be that the actual video on the hard drive is not clipped - only the copy that is burned to the DVD is edited. That's when the frame-accurate mode matters. I don't do it that way so it makes no difference whether I have the frame-accurate setting on or off.
    I got my unit a few hours ago and have been experimenting with it. I originally assumed that the Frame Accurate setting would affect all editing. I see now that it only applies to the copy list. So for editing commercials, it definitely is best to do it the way you describe and get frame accuracy and high-speed copying. Very nice!
