Restart your computer.
I've had it say that it cant output some files that it should, too, similar to this error. Restarting my computer, or sometimes even just closing, and re-opening TMPG has solved it. You're using 3.0 XPress, right?

Are you overclocking any of your hardware? If so, try setting it back to its rated speed and try again.
