  1. First off, I'm a newbie, so if I'm in the wrong place, please forgive me...

I purchased some DVD's from Europe which are in PAL format, and they won't play in my Panasonic DVD player. They do, however, play in my Apple Computer DVD player. Is there a way to convert or burn somehow, so they will play in my Panasonic DVD player? I tried using DVD Backup program and Toast to burn a copy, but it didn't work. I also have DVD2OneX... but I don't see anything in there that might help.

If anyone has any suggestions that would be awesome.

    Thanks!

  3. I sent too much time my self on this issue. I finally just bought a 38.00 dollar wal-mart dvd player (forget the name, but on box said played pal) and works just fine.

Cyberhome. $40 or under at Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy. Plays everything, progressive scan, etc.

The amount of time you'll spend hating yourself over this is worth more than $40.
