I'm trying out TMPGEnc XPress trial version and am noticing a problem when I pick an avi to convert to mpeg.

Every avi I select, whether the frame rate is 23.976, 29.97, or 25fps, shows up in the clip info screen as 30fps. And the frame rate setting in the advanced clip info is greyed out so I can't change it to the correct frame rate.

I do NOT have this problem in TMPGEnc Plus, only in TMPGEnc XPress.

Is there a way to specify the right frame rate of my source avi's, or is that a feature that only the paid-for version of the program can access?

Thanks,
