I use alcohol120% to burn images.....

This one image that I open using alcohol120% and which the images is .mds, an error comes up saying "Unrecognised file format for recording! Please insert a recognised image file for recording!"......

Next, I open .mdf instead of .mds...........it's pop-up a window
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    • Track format : Data Track Mode 1
      Block size(bytes) : 2352
Image Header size (bytes) : 0
      Image trailer size(bytes) : 0

[ ] Data was scrambled already
      [ ] Data contains EDC/ECC info sections

      Note:
Because an unsupported image file format is being used, you should manually set the track format, block size and other information. You MUST do this to record the image file!

      Note2:
The unsupported image file will be burned/emulated as a ONE-track-only disc. If this image file contains multi-track data, the burned/emulated disc will not be recorded the same as the original disc.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
How should I burn it so it won't waste my cds....

i would mount it as an image in alcohol.. you can also use iso buster or something to extract the image to your hd then burn that.. not sure what the deal is with the file..

PS this qestion might have been better off in another area to get more exposure.. possibly dvd authoring etc

I just googled "MDS MDF", and the first link is this:

Plenty of tips there by the look of it.
    If in doubt, Google it.
