  1. I having a problem converting this one DivX file to a DVD format currently I have tried using the following Nero6, WinAvi, Cucusoft, Xilisoft and Tmpenc. Each one encodes and burns to a DVD which will play on the computers DVD but not in my stand alone; hopefully someone can point me in right direction on what Im doing wrong.
    Thanks in advance

  3. Not sure what it is you're doing. Can you go through the steps you used when you tried TMPGenc? WHat did you author with? What did you use to burn the DVD? What files were on the DVD? This info should help someone solve he problem.

  5. it might even be that the standalone you have wont work with - or+ if there not "done" a cetain way.
i have one that wont play stuff unless its been(if its an mpeg) say, demuxed in tmpgenc, then authored with ifoedit, then burned.
you could try vso divxtodvd, its free, and its the only one that lets me play stuff on that problem standalone without using tmpeg, etc.
