Hi, all
I burnt a svcd movie and was able to play on Pioneer 343. The problem was that the resume function did not work. If I stop the movie then play again, it starts over from the beginning. I searched on pioneer web site, they said something about the realtime clock counter ... which I have no idea what it is. Furthermore, the player has "last memory" feature which does not work either.
Please tell me what I need to do?

I believe this only applies to music CDs and DVDs. For VCDs and SVCDs, just use pause instead of stop.

A greater expert may be able to provide details, but I believe this has to do with how the VCD is authored. I use ULEAD DVD Movie Factory and have a Pioneer 343. The Resume function works properly with this setup. Try downloading the free trial and give it a whirl.
