I'm trying out this program and it's the best I've seen so far for this. I find that the output monitor has the most flexibility for scrubbing. But then I'm constantly switching back and forth beween the monitor and the timeline to scrub, split and cut.
So I'm wondering if anyone has a more efficient way of cutting in this app.

I agree, MVW is a great program. And I'm sure that other companies will follow Womble's lead as the popularity of DVD Recorders grows.
To answer your question, try this: In the Tool Bar click Componet Layout, then click Reset Layout. Then you can resize each of the windows as you see fit.

Thanks. I wish they would provide the same scrubbing options for the timeline as the output monitor.

I agree. If you find something different, please let me know.

Epicurus8a, Do I remember correctly that you have the Pioneer 420 or 520? I have the 220 and I was wondering if it would be better to get a 420 and do the cutting on it.
