I was just noticing that. And the timing is a little messed up for the first few pages. Animations are whipping by too fast.

Can you make it go full screen too?

  9. Might be just me but the RAR test runs but the
    link does not.

In IE I get a warning about opening the shockwave
file and then it stops. The RAR test in IE gives me
a blocked object warning (yellow top bar like a blocked pop up) but when I click allow it works fine.

In Firefox the RAR works but the link just sits
    there doing nothing.

    -edit-

    maybe security settings ??

it is full screen in browser -- but it loads for me every time in both FF and IE .. not sure why you had a problem

you have to click on the html file - not the swf file

Only loads for me half the time in IE behind absolutely no firewalls routers or nothing. The other half of the time it just stalls halfway to loading.
(I'm speaking of where Baldrick linked it in his post.)

  13. I did. Your RAR works fine. It's Baldrick's link
    that fails.

    looks fine to me BJ_M

does need directions to click the "next" button and it would be nice if the next button showed up a little quicker, I was trying to skip ahead.

  17. Ok. I can now say the following with confidence.

    1) The RAR works everytime in both IE and Firefox
    2) the link has a fail rate of 70% in IE and 85% in Firefox

Sometime is not stable.. file permissions or flash settings. I have not noticed a problem with other
    flash sites.

The point is to read and not be able to skip ahead.

I could add directions to the next button, but that would mean BJ_M would have to start over again.

  19. .. really needs an imbedded voice summarizing the page
plus perhaps a notice that it only takes x minutes to
    do the tour.

While your at it BJ_M, some elevator music could
    not hurt :P

    -edit-

I got it. Letter in a bottle by Sting.

I'm not sure the Next button needs "directions" it just needs to stand out so it's clear that you need to click it to move on.

I also realize the point is to read, but some people read faster than others, you don't want them to close the page because they got tired of waiting on the next page

Well now that the logo is out, there's not much left on the page so I guess it might become more noticable.

Powerpoint was finicky with it's timing restrictions. I think BJ's taking care of it tho.

That's true, anytime I make a PP presentation I'm always fighting with it over time issues.

On the elevator music? Ask Baldrick I guess.
On narration? I'd be willing to do it but seems kinda redundant at this point.

    no music
    no narration
