That'll work.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -
Thanks Baldrick. Manditory viewing could be even simpler. Just change the link in "register" to point to the tour instead. I have already put the register link on the last page.
Great! Thanks BJ. You're a lifesaver. You mods can decide which format you prefer.
Now aside from that apostrophe, can anyone else find something wrong with it so I can fix it before it gets converted to the final version?
Thanks again everyone. -
I'll give it a twice over.
I just noticed your lazy eye. :P
EDIT: Looks good. The only thing that caught my attention was the tools part, where you say 'from ...' with no 'to...' but that's minor and most people probably wouldn't care one way or the other. Just going over it with a fine tooth comb.Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -

Posters is not a plural noun here, and your example does not even apply. Posters is a possessive adjective modifying the noun matter, as in the matter of the poster. It takes an apostrophe.
Now stay after school and review the lesson. -
Aw, someone just rephrase the sentence so that I don't have to bother with who's right. :P
EDIT: Now that I think about it, shouldn't it be like this?
Do not post in a way to change the subject of a topic from the original posters' matter. -
Do not post in a way to change the original poster's topic.

Sorry Cap, I'm with p_l on this one. (Doesn't make me right, but I agree). -
Nice timing jim. Same timestamp on our posts.

Here, I'll do this:
Do not post in a way to change the subject of a topic from the original post.
Case closed. -
How about:
Do not change the subject while in a topic, instead make a new one
That should cover most problems -
Then there's (yes apostorphe and then "s") the disclaimer...
Please note that none of this applies in the Off Topic forum. -
Ok, quick question. What would you call each section such as "newbie general"? Would it be a thread list? A sub-forum? What?
-
All right, all the minor fixes are done and uploaded. It's ready to convert.
-
Great work SM. Don't forget to give yourself credit, maybe a line at the end. You may just have helped
more people than if writing an ordinary guide. -
Probably a little late, but hey - recognition at any time is always good in my book.
Awesome job Shadowmistress!!! You should be justifiably proud of your work - well thought out, well presented, clear and concise.
And on the "apostrophe" discussion... In layman's terms:
1. ...member's... = belonging to the member. Possesive. Or...
2. ...member's... = member is. Contraction.
3. ...members... = more than one member. Plural.
4. ...Jones'... = Pronounced "Jones-es". Possesive, when the possesion belongs to a word that already ends in an "s". In this case, the surname "Jones".There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
Carpe diem.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room. -

Bump-a-roony ...
I noticed that there had not been any developments with this for a few weeks, and wondered if anyone knows how to (and has or can get the tools to) convert the .pps to flash or animated GIF ?
It would seem to me that that's the only thing required now to get this baby out to the massesIf in doubt, Google it. -
http://www.mindleads.com/en/products/jobmaster/kfeatur.htm
but probably not to animated gif. -
i will convert it to flash right now -- i forgot about it
