  1. I use DVDMaestro for authoring my DVD project and it's simply the best that there is (full creative control and everything you'd wish for, except ...) Since it's an older program there is no built-in option for rendering motion menus and these need to be authored separately and imported to DVDMaestro. Any recomendation for a tool/program for creating motion menus? Ideally, it should provide for full creative freedom whithout forcing you to use presets etc. (optional presets for buttons and backgrounds are fine but they should not be mandatory) and without being overly 'user unfriendly' (I'd say my level of DVD authoring proficiency is high intermediate to advanced).

Any suggestion is appreciated. I know of DVD Menu Studio, but this appears to be for still menus only.

    Thanks.

  2. As you said motion menu's are just mpeg clips. Adobe After effects is great for creating them but its not easy to learn. Any video editing tool can be used in addition to photoshop for the buttons etc
