    hi thanks

8mm projector into video transfer box (turns image 90 degrees) into a digital camcorder. speed of projector set to 16.6 secs (for uk pal) to avoid flicker effect.

The problem that remains is hotspot (centre spot burnt out when image dominated by highlights)

    hope this enough

always an issue with one light telecines ..

you can try to use a 30% glass ND filter or a screen to cut down the light ... also - if you can defocus the bulb (used a lot in short throw theaters to prevent some hotspots)
