Hey Forum, Here's My problem..I just purchased the WinAVI Converter and it seems pretty good so far, But i'm encountering an annoying problem with my latest project. I took 5 different MOV files(the movie itself being 142mb the smallest 4.5mb's or so) and converted them to DVD mode using the WinAVI converter and the finished product just isn't right. The sound skips and there are way to many macro-blocks in the movie itself. Since details are important here at the forum here are the settings I used with the WinAVI Converter. My target format was set to Auto, Aspect ratio was set to Auto, Quality was set to Highest, Audio bitrate was set to 192000, and all of the MOV files were converted to DVD. Can someone please tell Me how to fix the skipping sound and reduce the number of macro-blocks in my picture? Thanks so much for your help.

Oops I also forgot to mention that I am burning the files to DVD-R using Nerovision Express 2SE. Hope that helps.

settle down mate - it's only been 26 hours since you posted this. If someone knows the answer, they'll post it eventually.

In all honesty I think there are far better tools than what you're using, such as TMPEnc Plus, TMPGEnc Express and CCE, just to name three. So my advice is quite simple - try another tool. If you're really desperate, try another All-in-one like DVDSanta and that will probably very quickly tell you if the source is to blame or if the program is causing the issues.
    If in doubt, Google it.
