I have a dvd that a friend encoded and made of and old 1983 wrestling event that was on tv. He didn't know how to get rid of the hiss in the audio. I've used dvd2avi to demux the audio with a delay value. then I used besweet to convert the ac3 to wav while using the delay option from dvd2avi. I then fixed the wav and encoded it to the same type of ac3 that it was (2ch stereo). I tried to pick load dvd video in tmpgenc that way it would have all the correct chapters and all and just replace the audio with the new one. when I try to output the file it goes for about a minute then says done, but the files are small and it didn't even do it properly. any ideas how I can do this ? thanks

  2. Open tmpgenc, cancel the wizard, select File, mpeg tools, simple remux.
Mux the new audio with the old video. Author, Burn.

This is kinda a problem because I used dvd2avi and I got the whole audio file and the files from the dvd are vobs. the audio file is not split up evenly with the vobs.

  4. Load the .vobs into dvdlab. Select "Join".
Open the mpeg in tmpgenc's mpeg tools, demux.
You now have a complete audio file.
That's just one way, I know there are other ways to extract .vobs
