How do you extract only video and not sound using virtualdub?
I am loading a .avi (of divx type) in virtualdub.

I know to get sound only, save it as .wav but when I save it as .avi, it has both

  2. I'm not sure 100%, but I know there is some Demux option in VirtualDub, which you can save just the AVI with the Video only
try looking through the Save AVI options.

  5. remember to set the video to 'direct stream copy' so you don't recompress the video but just extract it

N0SoopForU already gave the answer : "Audio" -> "No Audio".
Then save the avi. Wheter you recompress it or not (full recompress or direct-stream), there will be no audio in it.
