Using the mpegenc option, I can preserve my widescreen, but using the ffmpeg, I don't have this option and my movie gets quished? There has to be the option in there somewhere, but I'm missing it. Any help or pointers?![]()

Aha, then I'd better get the MPEG2 component for QuickTime installed, pronto! It's been weird though, for about two weeks, ffmpegX was just unusable, and now it works perfectly, even on files that it choked on two weeks ago....? No re-install, either. When will 1.0 be on the scene though?

as long as there's no need to update the binaries, another version is cool, it's been.....weeks...since the last one..
