Configuring the ILO DVDR04 for PAL video output

I recently purchased the ILO DVDR04 in the US. This DVD recorder is now
being used in India.

I therefore tried to configure the video output to PAL (as against the
default NTSC). To do this I followed the instructions in the manual, page
26.

However the NTSC/PAL option under setup menu - system - video output does not show up at all. Also, pressing the video button at this stage, as
advised by the manual does not help.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction to re-configure the video output to PAL?

I have the Liteon 5001 wich seems to be the sale as yours; Anyway for me, once inside "setup" the first option selectable is "systems" which in turn gives access to others options; the first is "video output', the second is "tv type" and it is there that you can select Pal or NTSC. I hope this helps you;

A note: I bought my unit in Canada for its ability to be used on PAL system (I am in France) I found out afterwards that the output and input can accept either but the tuner is NTSC only (hardware)...
