This is driving me nuts. I cut out the wanted pieces of an AVI file with VirtualDub (Mostly DivX or Indeo 5.1) When I load these in Premiere the all show initial black frames. When I open these in VirtualDub everything is OK from frame 1.
Also, once I start editing them in Premiere the audio get slightly out of sync (while the original cut-out piecethe audio is in sync).
Can anyone give me some tips?

One suggestion is you could do all your editing, including the cutting, in Premiere. That's how I do it ang I don't get synch problems. It would probably save some time also, since Premiere doesn't actually cut until you encode. It may result in a requirement for addtional disk space if you are used to discarding the "cut" bits since they won't be cut now until you render.
