    It's some sort of energetic noise. Very irritating if you watch for more than 30 seconds. I'd appreciate it if you guys would take a look. Very small (1 MB) Divx AVI posted. Perhaps a VirtualDub filter ? Thanks.

    I would say that it is the switching points of a video cassete recorder. did you transfer this film from anolge footage done on a vhs camcorder.

    Try a different vhs/camcorder it its a capture,i had the same problem till i switched vcrs.
