Well what exactly are the files? I dont know the format but if I now what the files are (compressed data, database, picture, text) that would help alot.

Otherwise this is all I can find
    http://rcsb-deposit.rutgers.edu/format-faq-v1.html

Unless you mean pdF, if so thats a whole different story.

Protein Data Base? Palm Data Base? Or maybe it's a PDF file for Acrobat Reader.

Do a Google search for 'pdb converter' and you should find one of the programs listed to do what you want.

On the 'FileExt' web site against the entry for 'Palmpilot Database/Document File' it has a link to a viewer called XnView.
    http://www.xnview.com/
There is a free download - give it a try.

OK - try this instead - see if the 'PalmXP' program can open it.

or check out the 'palm-db-tools-project' ...

  13. Hi,i tried to download the programs you suggested bunnyyip but i'm not sure how to use them, anyways i have xnview program, but when i try to open it i get an error saying the format of the file could not be determined,i used pdb converter and get an excel type worksheet up but when i click "file" "convert pdb" nothing happens and i tried using IE2PDB and clicking on the PDB to text option but although i can enter the source file in okay i cant seem to put in a destination file,i tried typing one in and again nothing happened.I'm sure the disk is not corrupted as my computor can read the disk every time i put it in.

There's no app on the CD to view the files? That seems kind of strange.

I stil have no idea what the intended use of the files are. I think you need to solve that mystery first.
