  1. First time using this piece of software. I was using the NEROrecode section. I loaded up my .avi movie and cut out the credits with the edit feature. I then made a menu and chapters. The program seemed to start burning fine. Roughly an hour and a half into the burn, the DVD is almost finished. I then receive and error saying "Unable to create the disc structure. Burn process failed!" Then it asks if I want to save the error log entry. WTF? The DVD appears to be burned, but it will not play in any DVD players including the one that burned it. Help!

Doesn't sound like it started burning but just went through the encoding process.

Anyhow the first thing you do is eliminate the esiest things. Make sure the software your using has the latest updates and get the latest firmware for your drive.

The disc is definately burned on. It's very easy and obvious to see. When it started, it kinda looked like it would encode a little, then burn a little, encode a little, then burn a little......maybe not though. Regardless, I know the disc was burnt. I'll update to firmware now.

I really doubt that, I have yet to see any app that doesn't burn the entire disc in a single pass. Might be wrong here but I think it has to be burnt in single pass, at least by file. If anything it might of begun the burning process and was aborted.
