    Howdy All-
    Noob Question Warning!!!
    I've been the happy owner of a LITE-ON LDW411s burner for over a year now. Recently, I did the 411s@811s firmware patch; NOT to increase burnspeed but to see if I could get better compatibility with the more modern media. In particular, MXL and TY medias (8X) default to compatibility mode (2X)!!! I realize this drive probably can't support -R@8X, but getting 4X would be nice. I'd sure hate to have to retire this drive because of a lack of media support...Does anyone know if anyone has patched this firmware for increased media support or am I SOL? (current is HSOR)
