  1. Ok I make DVD's for a drinking game, power hour. In power hour you take a shot of beer every minute for an hour. I cut music videos to exactly a minute long use vegas video to combine the videos, add titles and have a counter countdown till the next song. Here's a sample of what im talking about. http://www.powerhourvideos.com/phv5_cable.wmv. I come out with new volumes of this every so often with different songs. I kinda get sick of listeninig to the same volumes over and over again with the same songs in the same order. My question is, is it possible to cut say 200 videos and put them on a dvd and have the dvd player randomly pick what video is next. That way everytime you play it its never the same. But the thing is i still want to have the count down. in the bottom right corner. I dont know if this is possible any ideas would be appreciated.

  4. Create as many menu's as you need. 60 to countdown 60 seconds. Have each one timeout in one second, and load the next, timeout in one sec, load the next etc. At the end of whatever time (button push determines what plays) each of the 60 menus goes to a different (hidden) video.
Not exactly what you want, but you could modify the game to fit your dvd maybe?

  7. DVD Lab Pro has a "random list" object that I think will do what you are looking to do.

I saw two things though, the number incrementing (I assume that's a video count) and then the count down, which is the glowing ring around that number.

If you lose the incrementing number then the random list will solve your problem I believe. If you need that number, then I think you are stuck with a set play order.

If you are going to have it jump around the clips within the countdown, you will have to accept that seek times etc will impact the countdown.
