Hey, here lately when i an backing up some of my video clips onto dvd the audio is way out of sync with the video, it starts out perfectly fine, great picture and sound, than it is like a vhs tape jumps altho its a dvd an than the audio is out of sync, it happens on and off throughout most of my dvd's ive burner.
I am using Memorex DVD-R 8x media, with a Lite-On DVDRW SOHW-812S
i am using DIKO to load my avi files and than taking the output folder's "video_ts" and "audio_ts" folders and burning it with Nero, i am burning at my burners max, should i lower the write speed, try different media what?
Thanks

You need to determine at what point during the process it goes out of sync. During capture, endoding.......
Here's a good start to fixing it: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=166660
I guess anything is possible but I doubt changing media or changing burning speed will make a difference. In most cases the video is out of sync right off the bat when you capture it. -
Well, one of the clips i had already burned to dvd but still had on my drive before i encoded it from avi to dvd, the avi played fine, no jumps or audio sync problems at all.
i am using DIKO to convert my avi's to get the audio and video_ts folders which i than use nero an open the wizard and choose dvd video.
thanks
