    Is it possible to burn a slide show with text?
    Using Nero 5.5 to burn my vcd's and svcd's. I believe for Nero to burn the slide show, you have to let Nero convert the pics to mpeg. I would like to put names with the pics or just the filenames even so that 40 yrs from now, someone looking at them can know who it is. Just burning family pics to watch on the DVD player.

    Still sort of a novice on vcd's and svcd's, but just about have perfected the settings on tmpgenc to suit my quality requirements - THANK ALL OF YOU HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the greatest site on the web for learning this stuff. Hopefully, soon, I'll be able to pass on some knowledge to the next people with problems.

    WinOnCD 3.8 will do this very nicely. You can add text to your pics in the slideshow with this app. Nero is better than WinOnCD for VCD. WinOnCD is superior for slide shows because unlike Nero, WinOnCD enables you to do menu-driven slideshows...
