Ok, I have a few avi file that I want to make into a DVD. When I made the dvd the video image was to big for my tv screen. I've tryed resizing the avi files to 320 X 240 cause thats what my friend to do when he made vcds, but still the video image was to big and the image quality turned out horrible.
The video files are 640x480 at 23.976fps. I used VirtualDub 1.5.10 to resize the files and I used Sonic MyDVD to make the DVD. Can anybody help me to make the video image fit to a tv screen?
Thanks so much in advanced.

Sounds like you might be having a problem with overscan. So instead of resizing to the full 720x480 resize to say 704x464 or whatever and then pad to 720x480.
I would suggest AVISynth over VDub for the job, but you can use whatever you like for the job. FitCD would be a good way to create the AVISynth script. -
try tmpgenc xpress... i use avi files that are the same and have them on dvd and they look great! i also recommend usuing dvdlab instead of mysonic.
