Thanks for all the opinions. I think I'll probably stay with mp3 for now until I have more time to see about making a wma copy of my whole library.
I've got another question though, what are your opinions on Ogg Vorbis, the open source format? Granted my mp3 player doesn't support this but I'm curious as to its quality.[/quote]

Ogg Vorbis is a lossless format and sounds very good at low bitrates.Given a choice I would still use WMA for <98kbps and MP3 >98kbps because of compatibilty.
