Hello,
I've noticed that when a new post is up in a thread when you click the red "newest" button it doesn't always keep up with the thread.
Sometimes it will last the entire session while I'm logged in.
It's not that big of a deal but sometimes threads in OT move fast and it can be a page or two after but the "newest" button will still go back to the older "newest" post (anyone know what I'm talking about????)
Kevin

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
-
shouldn't this be in feedback?......you'd better sort this out before Yoda reports it!
oh wait... :P -
Hello,
I guess I deserve that.....:P :P
But it's just a curiousity that doesn't need any real action...

That only happens to me when I have multiple windows open. The cookie gets confused and doesn't know which one to update. Usually updates the wrong one.
When I have just one window open the red keeps up just fine. -

I don't have alot of restrictions on cookies, and I dont run a firewall. Maybe one of your other programs is preventing an update? Maybe even pop-up blockers?
-
Hello,
Never thought of that........
I'm running ie 6 right now with pop up blockers off. And I've got a wireless router but I don't think I've got it set up very strict (I'm still new to the whole wireless networking world).

. I can't imagine what messages your PC is sending out or what is accessing your PC if you don't run a firewall
it's a neccessity
zonealarm is a good free one to try, as it stops most of the crap going in and out of your PC and pops up a simple warning when anything tries -
I don't run one cause I can't net game with it. I've tried. Slows the game down too much.
I don't have anything in my comp anywhere that I need to keep secret.
If my comp gets trashed I load a clone I've made in the past of a fresh install with all my programs and settings the way I like em. Takes 7 minutes to restore. I lose nothing.
Spindles of CD-RW are good to me. -
which firewall did you try?
why not just turn it off when you play games?
I still recommend you use one as it's like having unprotected sex if you don't have a firewall and antivirus -
If you must know, it interferes with my p2p programs as well which I run contantly.
I like to live dangerously. :P
