Its a Panasonic DVD-RAM PC Drive SW9573S read/write.
The DVD-RAM disc was recorded on the panasonic DMRE95HS.
Windows recognize the RAM disc as "CD 1.99gb". -
You need a UDF reader and apparently you didn't install one probably because you got an OEM burner without the driver disc.
See the following link for where to get one:

Windows XP SP2 reads my RAM disc recorded on JVC DR-M10S without any problem.
BTW, Nero InCD or InCD reader can be used on Windows 2000 for reading VR mode disc. -
Problem solved.
Windows xp sp2 does read the dvd-ram disc so no problems here.
To solve my windows 9x is to install a "MKEUDF.VXD" v5.1.0.0 and put in
"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IOSUBSYS" and reboot. It will now read the ram discs -
Thanks for the link ckwok1. When did microsoft update xp to read udf? I notice I have to use isobuster only rarely now to read dvd-vr. I assumed the support was installed by software I use (ulead, TMPGEnc Author). Several months ago I could not read dvd-vr or would only see a partial file, eg 10 minutes of a 2-hour video. Thanks again.

Only thing that's worked for me using a Toshiba SD-M1712 w/Hacked firmware (All-Region) is to install ISO Buster and extract the DVD_RTAV folder from that, yeah you have tio pay about $25.00 to get the ability to extract VRO Files but it's worth it, nothing else has worked and I'm recording off of a Panasonic DMR-HS2. I can only do full disc extractions and I'm also using PowerDVD.
Specs: Mac Mini (Early 2006): 1.66 GHz Intel Core Duo CPU, 320GB HDD, 2GB DDR2 RAM, Intel GMA 950 integrated graphics card, Matshita UJ-846 Superdrive, Mac OS X 10.5.7 and various peripherals. System runs Final Cut Express 3.5 for editing.
