I have been trying 2 programs all afternoon and no having any luck. I have tries DVD2SVD and the film machine and they both seem complicated. How many different times do you have to convert the data to get it to burn with Shrink or Decrypter. Im I totally lost or do you have to convert the AVI to MPEG and then the MPEG to a VOB or am I getting totally screwed up. I can seem to get the audio to convert but at the vedio part whare the program goes to TMPGenc it just stops.

AVI-video to m2v/mpv, audio to ac3/mp2/wav then AUTHOR to vobs etc
or
AVI to mpeg, then author to vobs etc.
You need to understand the basics first (there is no shortcuts, sorry) and the possible problems you may/will come across. Its NOT hard to grasp at a basic level but you need to learn...one click apps will help you by about 0%

VSO DivxToDVD will convert your AVI file to DVD Vob files very easily. Then you can burn them with Nero or and I think DVD Shrink will work as well. Give it a try. About the easiest program to use. You don't get a lot of choices, but it's fast and easy.

guy, you can use the tool xilisoft video converter to rip .avi file to .vob file, then burn it with your burn program. Find it at https://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=Xilisoft_Video_Converer.
