  1. I am getting 6 DVD's to copy but I wont have access to them for more than an hour or two.

Can I use DVD Shrink to convert the DVD’s to .ISO files (through DVD Decrypter) and save them until later in week? If my assumption is correct, once the DVD’s are backed up to .ISO files; all I need to do is open DVD Decrypter and use the “hard drive image to DVD” option.

    Am I correct?

    Do NOT give warez.
Do NOT link to warez .
    Do NOT ask for warez.
Do NOT provide information how to obtain warez.
    Do NOT advocate warez.
Warez includes downloaded copyrighted movies, movies that are not yet released on VHS/DVD and copying rented movies.
    Are these copyrighted?

If you can't be bothered to search, dont ask questions

  5. If they were Warez I would of stated.

They are being backed up, I do not want to mess up the orginals. I am very bad when it comes to taking care of disc's.

Why dont you go back to your blog site and put in some of your thoughts about what I just said.

No of course you wouldnt tell us if they were warez......that would just be dumb.

If you have a large enough hard disk, you could:

    1. Insert each disc, and pick "ISO->Read" with DVD Decrypter. Save to your hard disk.

    2. At your leisure, pick "open disc image" with DVD Shrink, and proceed as you normally would.

I do this often - for example, if I have never backed up a movie, but someone wants to borrow it, I'll rip it to my hard drive. That way if it DOES get mistreated I can always burn it back again.

(NO LECTURES ABOUT THE QUASI-LEGALITY OF REPLACING MY OWN SCRATCHED DVD'S WITH MY OWN COPIES, PLEASE!)

  8. Why not loan out the copy? That way if it gets scratched, throw it away.

I tell you it's legal and out of blind fate you say something like "even if it was you wouldnt say". Get out of my thread if you arnt going to help and just make blind assumptions of what I am doing. Unless your sitting next to me in my place and you see what I'm doing you have no grounds to even think I'm doing something illegal.

For the hell of it, I think your robbing banks, how do I know this? Well because even if you were, you wouldnt tell me.

Everyone else who actually helped............thanks guys!

I like you. You remind me of me. Only more tactful. I would have said "I think you're a child molester" and then I would have been suspended and gotten a warning over it. Heh.
