I sometimes capture from TV to "time shift", recording them to DVD-RWs. Spending the time it takes to author with most authoring programs and then burning seems like a waste of time.
Does anyone know an authoring/burning program where basically you can drag and drop a compatible MPEG and then burn with a single click (or at least with only minimal effort)??
TIA

Just about any aothoring program will come close. Pick a template for DVD, drop the clip in the first play slot and burn away. Use a app such as Ulead Movie Factory that has a selection for "do not convert compliant files".
