Hi Everyone,
I Am thinking about buying the following system for use with the new Avid DV Xpress pro software and was wondering does anyone have a similar system running this, or does anyone see any probs(Apart from HDD and Memory) with the system for running such software.
Thanks

Although you already mentioned it, 40Gigs really isn't much room for storing and editing DV footage. After formating and installing your OS and programs, that'll only leave about 30Gigs of useable storage space.

I don't see why it wouldn't work for you. I do editing on my laptop with an Athlon 64 3200 with 512mb and it works just fine. If you plan on doing your encoding on the machine as well, you might want to get Motherboard Monitor just to keep track of the temperatures. My desktop cpu warms up while encoding in VV5 and sometimes crashes.
