  1. I am making my own DVD's using Sony's DVD Architect 2.0. I only build with this program. I then use Nero or DVD Decrypter to burn the VIDEO_TS folder or the ISO file. I am using BEALL 4x DVD-R general disks with a Pioneer A07XL.

A disk that is 4.35 large burns in 15:05 minutes and does so with no errors.

Normally I have two 45 min shows on each disk with 5 chapters each. The first plays fine, all chapters. The second plays up until the 5th chapter. The last 2 or 3 mins of the disk breaks up. It stops and jumps, and then just stops. I have tried it on all kinds of players, and it does it on all of them.

    Any help would be great.

Yes, bad media for sure. Bad media shows its ugly face at the outer edge of the disc (if not before) - the last part of the video. Either find better media, or keep the video down to something like 4.2 GB

  4. Thanks so much. I was kinda wondering if it was the media. I had no problems burning smaller files (4 gigs) in size with these. What media would you suggest I switch to?

    I am looking for a huh printable media. I was looking at Verbatim (94495) 4X DVD-R or Ritek Ridata G05 8X DVD-R.

Also I have read alot about Taiyo Yuden being the best, but I wasn't able to find any inkjet printable disks. Do they make them, or are they just thermal.

Thanks again for all your help.
