Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a friend who is working on a bunch of maps. He wants to scan them into the computer and use them for work, but the problem is that all the maps are black with white highlights and letters. Is there any way to make a negative of the scan so the black background is white and the white letters are black? I appreciate any help or programs people could suggest. Thanks in advance.

This is a VCD - Video CD forum. You are really looking for help on graphics editing which is not the intent of this forum. However, you had good manners and posted in the Newbie forum, so I'll answer it for you.
Any middle of the road graphic editor and some viewers will be able to invert your image. Try Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or the like or even ACDSee.
Good luck!
