  1. capturing with the MJPEG compressor codec.

i set quality at 50% and did not compress audio as specified by one of the tutorials and the file size of the capture is HUGE!!

using virtual vcr as the main capturing device should i compress audio?? if i do what audio compression method should i use??

thanks to anyone who helps me out.

When you are capturing dont compress the audio, use pcm, when you encode then compress the audio. The file size will be large but when you encode then it will be much smaller.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
