  1. I'm fairly new to burning dvd's and although I've been burning with Japan made TDK's, I've noticed during playback that some of them are kind of screwy. Is there a program out there that tests the quality of a burn? I'm assuming a bad burn is what causes the movies to freeze, stutter, etc, etc. Like I said I'm fairly new, so if there's any other information I should be aware of about this issue, please let me know. Also, are these issues that could mostly be resolved by using TY or Maxell media?

    Thanks,
    Chris

No it's not. Takes 10 minutes to run a SCANDISC.
    www.nomorecoasters.com and read instructions there.

  5. Thanks for the help using Nero tools.

Is it possible to have a bad file that causes bad burns. Seems some movies are find and others have read errors, yet other movies burn and read ok?

    Defrag the hard drive.
A fragmented drive can cause problems.
