  1. *Note:* This is the file im encoding -- http://img88.exs.cx/img88/9909/gspot2dq.jpg

1.) What impact does the resolution have on the overall Output quality when played on a TV? Judging from your responses the diffrence doesn't seem to be great at all.

2.) According to some guides, when encoding Hardsubs you are to set Arrangment Method to Center(Keep aspect ratio). However if i use that option i get a magnified image/output. If i leave it Full Screen it remains normal. Whats up with that?

3.) Most of the files i want to convert use 23.976FPS, however theres one file that uses 29.97FPS. Should i encode it at 23.976FPS like the rest or leave it at 29.97FPS?

    4.) What does Interlacing do?

I should be able to encode my stuff properly after all of these questions and wont bug you guys anymore :P Thanks

    1. The higher the better but you can't go past the DVD standards so your choices are FULL resolution or a resolution that matches VCD's.

    2. Full Screen is OK if the file is encoded with the same aspect ratio as your trying to encode to. If not you need to keep the aspect ration but I sugest you don't use the centre option as the image will not be resized so you will not get full screen.

    3. Kepp the file at 29.97.

    4. God there's no way I can think of to explain this but I'm sure you can find something on the internet.
